Rockwood also directed shows for the Toledo Repertoire Theatre and the Village Players Theatre. She directed numerous productions for the University stage. After 10 years in that role, she returned to teaching as a senior lecturer and retired in 2014. She was named director of UT’s First-Year Experience Program in 2003. In 1985, she joined the faculty of the Department of Theatre and Film. Jennifer Rockwood (A/S ’78), age 64, worked at UT for nearly three decades. Guthrie was granted emeritus status when he retired in 1988. Guthrie, age 86, joined the UT faculty in 1961 and served as chair of the Philosophy Department from 1975 to 1982.
